With everyone's busy schedules, we know how hard it can be to carve out the time for a Dance Shoot. Jon Applegate has been photographing dancers for over 14 years and was one of the first photographers in the UK to specialise in professional studio dance photography for children and young people.

Our studio is based in Essex, but we regularly welcome families from all over the UK.
If capturing this stage of your dancer’s journey matters to you, distance often becomes the easy part.
We simply ask that you enter Register to Win only if travelling to the studio is realistic for your family.
Shoot & images are not automatically included — winning families receive studio credit towards collections.

Register to Win is designed to be simple and transparent.
Winning families pay a £25 shoot fee
You’ll receive £100 credit to use towards any image collection
Image collections are purchased separately after you’ve viewed your images at home
Collections start from £395
There is no obligation to purchase — you only choose a collection if you truly love your images.
Images are not included in the shoot fee — families choose whether to purchase any artwork after viewing their images.

I have photographed hundreds of dancers and know how to make this a fun experience you will never forget. So breathe, relax and trust that I have everything under control.
Your 2 hr long dance shoot will be full of creativity, help, assitance, laughs and fun and memories to last a lifetime.
You will view your amazing photos from the comfort of your own home within 2 weeks of the shoot. This is when you can choose and purchase collections of images from the shoot
